The UCAN Scientific Advisory Board

Joint research is one of UCANs main activities.

The upcoming challenges in medical assessment can only be tackled together as a network. Besides the cooperation in software and IT we also need to strengthen our ties in the field of medical assessment research. For this purpose, an "Advisory Council for Scientific Cooperation" was launched at the 8. Partners Meeting in Göttingen in 2015.

The main function of the Advisory Council is to enhance the communication within UCAN. On the one hand, it will open an additional communication channel between the UCAN office and the partners. On the other hand the scientific expertise of the partners can flow back to the Consortium.

Each faculty can appoint two persons to the council. Ideally, one of these persons should be the local “master of medical education”, or the exam coordinator at the respective faculty. Study deans are also invited to the meetings.
