Medical University of Graz
The Medical University of Graz has been a UCAN partner since 2013. The participation in the Assessment Network and the step-by-step possibility to handle all examinations by means of one system as well as the possibility to use different examination formats and question types motivated the Graz University to become a member.
The majority of the Graz module examinations for human medicine are administered by the IMS (3 exams per semester with 15 modules each, which are administered by the IMS). For the OSCE examinations, tOSCE is used. In the future, the computer-based exams will also be administered via the UCAN system. In addition, individual examinations for nursing science and dentistry will also be carried out with the help of the IMS.
The clinical learning objectives catalogue is created in the IMS and the examination questions are linked to the learning objectives. The preclinical learning objectives catalog will soon be completed and can then also be used in the IMS.
In Graz, bonus point reporting is used for an internal evaluation of the allocation of performance-oriented resources (LOM teaching).
